First posting

So I guess I am new to this blogging thing.  It is in needing to be familiar and possibly using blogs in my Master's program that I am here.  I have several friends who keep up with daily or weekly blogs and family members who use theirs to keep the rest of us posted on their lives.  I am hoping mine amounts to more than a few uses for educational purposes.  It would be cool to work students blogging into my classes someday - I am open to ideas.  We will see how things go.
